WILLIAM P. HOGAN CRSP, CSS
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Mr. William P. Hogan is the Chief Executive Officer of Atlantic Safety Centre Inc. As a Canadian Registered Safety Professional and Certified Safety Specialist, Bill has over 35 years of experience in providing professional occupational health & safety and security consulting services to various industrial, business, service and government sectors and on mega-projects. Theses services have encompassed a wide and diverse range of clients needs including but not limited to, Policy/Program Development, Safety Auditing, Hazard Assessments, Training, Accident/Incident Investigation, Industrial Hygiene Program Development and Monitoring.

Mr. Hogan is an active and certified member of national and international professional safety associations such as the National Safety Council, National Fire Prevention Association, Newfoundland & Labrador Industrial Health & Safety Association (NLIHSA), and the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering. Other internationally recognized memberships include the World Safety Organization in which he is an accredited Certified Safety Specialists (CSS) in recognition of both his vast experience, years of work, professional competency and contribution to the safety field. He is also a professional member of the Association for Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (ACRSP) whereby he holds the Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation and is a past member of Board of Governor's and served as their Chairman of Public Affairs Committee.

He has delivered professional papers and speeches on various occupational health & safety topics at one time or another to a wide range of professional associations, industrial and business sector audiences.

MONA SAUNDERS
PRESIDENT

Mona Saunders is the President of Atlantic Safety Centre and has more than 14 years experience in the safety field as an administrator. Mona ensures that the business aspect of our consulting firm runs smoothly and coordinates the various projects and consulting activities that run concurrently. Mona is totally responsible for the facilitation of our training services providing professional advice to our many clients in this regard and to our professional trainers. Mona is an active member of a number of associations, including the Newfoundland Industrial Health and Safety Association in which she serves as their Executive Director, managing their day-to-day affairs and providing Occupational Health and Safety Services and direction to their broad membership. She is the firm's in-house expert on Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Air, Road and Marine and delivers training in this regard. Her opinion and advice relative to TDG is highly respected and broadly sought.

HAROLD KEATING, CRSP
SAFETY PROFESSIONAL
SENIOR OH&S CONSULTANT

Mr. Harold Keating is our Senior OHS Consultant and as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional has over 20 years of extensive experience in the occupational health and safety and security field. Over the course of his career he has provided theses services in various industrial, business and government sectors.

Mr. Keating is an active and certified member of numerous provincial, national, and international professional safety associations. In recognition of his vast experience, years of work and contribution to the safety field he served as Chairperson of the Minister of Environment and Labour's Advisory Council, Secretary to the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering, and a member of the Board of Directors of St. John Ambulance. Harold has also received the Order of St. John (Canada) in recognition for his experience, abilities and continued dedication in the safety field.

In addition to the wealth of experience in providing advice to industry in the field of occupational health and safety, he is certified to provide instruction in a variety of Occupational Health and Safety courses including Hazardous Materials Handling, WHMIS, TDG, Accident Investigation, Fire Fighting and Fire Investigation and Advanced First Aid.

MICHAEL WHITE, CRSP, SET
SAFETY ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIST
OH&S TECHNICIAN

Michael White is an OH&S Technician, having completed the advanced diploma program in Safety Engineering from the College of the North Atlantic's Engineering Technology Centre, Michael's formal training includes areas such as; Loss Control Management, Health & Safety Administration & Management, and Safety Program Development.

Prior to joining Atlantic Safety Centre, Michael gained broad experience working in the construction industry and health care for more than 15 years as well as having served as Commanding Officer of the 2863 ROyal Canadian Army Cadet Corps. from 1979-1995. He also holds a Level II Emergency Medical Response Diploma.

Since joining Atlantic Safety Center, Micahel has had occasion to provide site safety services, revise safety programs, develop training programs, and provide training in a number of areas.

JENNY MARTIN, SET
SAFETY ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIST
OH&S TECHNICIAN
 
Jenny’s educational background consists of a Bachelor’s Degree from Memorial University and a Safety Engineering Technology Diploma from the College of the North Atlantic.
 
Jenny is responsible for site safety services, developing OH&S policies and procedures for ASC clients, preparing course material and updates for ASC training programs, instructing a variety of safety courses and the packaging of dangerous goods.
